A voice in my head asked
What are you doing this for?
What is it that you want more?
What do you have in store?
What about keeping score?
What will you be remembered for?
What impact do you want to make?
And at the end, what will you take?
I said hey leave me alone voice
I don’t have to make a choice
The voice eventually dissipates…
The voice was gone for a while
I thought it went out of style
Then it came back much stronger
This time it stayed much longer
It was hard to just ignore
So I started with the question
